Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. VisioEdge (also referred to as "VisioEdge") exercises several fundamental principles to protect our clients, including:

Personal Privacy: VisioEdge will never ask for extraneous personal information like gender, religion, or income level, unless you request this information to be included as part of your vision, business, and brand.

Primary Confidentiality: VisioEdge does not share your information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products with data gathered anonymously, or protect our rights.

Exclusion and Deletion: VisioEdge does not store your personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our services, and always with your full transparency and permission.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Protecting Personally Identifying Information

VisioEdge only discloses Personally Identifying Information to those of its domestic and international employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations who are under legal privacy agreements that such information will remain private and protected. Personally Identifying Information is only used by these parties to process information on behalf of VisioEdge and provide services available through the VisioEdge platform and website.

VisioEdge discloses potentially Personally Identifying Information only in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request, or when VisioEdge believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonable and necessary to protect the property or rights of VisioEdge, relevant and related third parties, or the public at large.

If you are a registered user of VisioEdge and have supplied your email address, VisioEdge may occasionally send email correspondences that inform you about new features, updates to your subscription plan, or VisioEdge news, services, and products. VisioEdge blogs and newsletters are the primary vehicle for new product and service announcements, so direct correspondence will only be used if specifically relevant to you and your business needs.

In the case of requests made via our VisioEdge support channels or feedback mechanisms, we reserve the right to publish said requests to assist in clarification, response efficacy, and assistance of other users. VisioEdge takes all reasonable and necessary measures to protect against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction of potentially Personally-Identifying and Personally Identifying Information.

Gathering Personally Identifying Information

Some VisioEdge visitors and users choose to interact with our platform and website in ways that require VisioEdge to gather Personally Identifying Information. The amount and type of information that VisioEdge gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.

For example, businesses that sign up for a VisioEdge subscription plan must provide their company name, email address, and phone number during onboarding. Users who wish to receive VisioEdge updates via email must provide their email address. In each case, VisioEdge collects such information only as necessary and appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with VisioEdge. This information is never disclosed, sold, rented, or shared, and visitors can always refuse to supply Personally Identifying Information, though it may prevent them from engaging in certain platform-related activities.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, VisioEdge collects non-Personally Identifying Information, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, date and time of each visitor request, and other data that web browsers and servers typically make available. While VisioEdge may release non-Personally Identifying Information in the aggregate — for example, by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website — VisioEdge's primary purpose in collecting non-Personally Identifying Information is to better understand how visitors use its website.

VisioEdge also collects potentially Personally Identifying Information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users and for users submitting support requests or feedback. VisioEdge only discloses such information under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses Personally Identifying Information as described above.

Aggregated Statistics

VisioEdge may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website and users of the VisioEdge platform. For instance, VisioEdge may monitor the most popular features used across POS sessions, sales reporting patterns, or usage trends across subscription plans. VisioEdge may display this anonymous statistical information publicly or provide it to others. However, VisioEdge does not disclose Personally Identifying Information in these cases.

Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer that the browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. VisioEdge uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the VisioEdge website and platform, and their website access preferences. VisioEdge visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using VisioEdge websites, with the understanding that certain features of said websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If VisioEdge or its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that VisioEdge goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of VisioEdge may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Ads

Ads appearing on any of our websites may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Privacy Policy exclusively covers VisioEdge's use of cookies and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

Comments

Comments and other content submitted to VisioEdge support channels or feedback mechanisms are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as relevant for service improvement. Such content is thereby stored long enough to use to improve our services and avoid future issues.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, VisioEdge may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at VisioEdge's sole discretion. VisioEdge encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
